BARCODE CITY I

Lately as I've been exploring this conceptual architecture tact rather than taking straight up photographs, I've realized the building forms are very simplistic. There's something attractive to me about the simple block forms in this Brutalist architectual style that I've been drawn to for some time now.

So it's only natural that the symbol of mass produced homegeneity, the bar code, be encoded into the buildings form. Big blocks of steel and concrete are easy to design, easy to construct. All rebar and poured concrete. Solid. One after the other built block after block. Strong shelter is the primary need. These cities have to be strong to withstand the turmoil of natural and human elements.
